COOKIE POLICY

Document ID: COOKIE-2026

Version: 1.1

Effective date: 25/02/2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. They are used for technical operation, user preferences, and session continuity.

2.1 Essential cookies

Required for core platform functionality and account/session security. These cookies are always active as they are necessary for the platform to work properly.

2.2 Preference cookies

Used to remember UI preferences such as theme mode.

2.3 Functional and analytics cookies (Fajnder Core)

These cookies are developed and controlled exclusively by our platform (First-Party) and do not share your data with advertisers (like Google or Facebook). We use them solely to help our search algorithm ("Fajnder Core") learn and personalize results. They help us remember recently searched locations, measure result relevance (based on anonymous clicks), and continuously improve search engine precision. They are activated only with your explicit consent.

2.4 Analytics and marketing cookies (Third-Party)

Currently, no mandatory third-party analytics/marketing script is hardwired as required execution for all visitors. If external tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) are introduced, this policy and consent flows will be updated prior to production activation.

Session cookies expire when the browser session ends. Persistent cookies remain until expiry or manual deletion.

Users can manage cookies via:

  1. the cookie consent banner and privacy dashboard,
  2. browser cookie settings,
  3. browser-level blocking rules.
